In 2018, Catherine Wilson launched her collection of “poetry prints”. These used lines from her poem “Scotland the More” as well as reclaimed images of Scotland in the public domain including photographs and anonymous artwork.
These were designed with the aim of putting her words into the hands of people – they could be collaged, mailed, framed or changed into something new.
They combined historical images of Scotland with modern words and bold letters – showing Scotland’s history contrasted with the country it is now.
Alongside the map, Catherine launched an interactive online map where people could explore the poem on a virtual landscape of Scotland.
