Hello

About Me

My name is Catherine and I’m a 24-year old poet and writer currently living and working in Edinburgh. I’ve been commissioned to write for organisations including StAnza Poetry Festival, BBC Radio 4, BBC Radio Scotland and the British National Gallery.

In 2018 I was selected by YWCA Scotland as one of the top inspirational women under 30. I am on the board of trustees for YWCA Scotland and the Poets Advisory Group for the Scottish Poetry Library.

When I’m not writing or performing, I have a job in arts administration. I also like reading, running, Studio Ghibli films, gin, theatre, learning Japanese, and obscure unsolvable mysteries.

If you want to find out more: The home page of this website acts a bit like a timeline of all my projects past and present.

Booking Me

I have written prose, non-fiction essays, poems and recently a couple of short plays. You can also contact me about performing at a gig, running a workshop or appearing on your radio show/TV/podcast/passion project!

If you’re interested in commissioning me head to my contact page with a rough idea – it can be detailed or as vague as you like. Let’s do this!

If you want to listen/see/read me in action, head to the watch page.

Got an idea?
